For English class we are required to write a five page researched essay on some topic in Pittsburgh. I have not come up with a solid thesis yet. But the thesis that I am working on is “The littering in Pittsburgh and around the world has to stop”. I changed my topic a few times but I believe I am going to stick with this one. I choose this topic because it was a problem that I wanted to address the most out of the other topics I came up with. My last topic was how port authority buses are never on time. The buses where either too early or very late.

I have not worked on finding much support yet. But I am starting to find some support today.

Bizarro Zzahc (note its my name backwards ^_^) I see this black kid walk into my class. He’s wearing a black shirt with knuckles on it. that’s a video game character from sonic the hedgehog. That is so stupid, who wears shirts with game characters on it. What a lame. He’s black, talk about 5’11, skinny and really preppy. He went to sit down with his friends they probable don’t even like him, he’s weird as hell. I don’t like this kid what so ever. I think he is a complete weirdo. I heard from a friend that he likes video games a lot. Video games are so stupid, I think they are for kids. I honestly don’t like nothing about this kid. And yet I want to be him in so many ways. -insert laugh here-

The first places I considered using for this project was Mc Donald’s, Burlington, My own bedroom, and The Art Institute. I thought hard about them and found out that they wouldn’t work that well with the assignment. I thought of food places like Mc Donald’s because the first place the professor used as an example was a food place. And still I sit here thinking what am I honestly suppose to be explaining about this place. In the end I didn’t think Mc Donald’s would work because it wouldn’t be that interesting. And on top of that I honestly didn’t want to Mc Donald’s. I thought of Burlington because it was close and it was downtown. I couldn’t think of what I was going to say of this place. I personally thought the Burlington downtown looked so trashy! I went in the place for an application one day and it looked a ghetto hot mess. It made me not even want to work there. Then I thought of my own bedroom before the professor explained the whole assignment and the part about it having some history of the place in it. I thought of my bedroom because I feel so comfortable in my room. I don’t know how to explain it exactly but its jus my own space to relax in. I then thought of the art institute because I love that place! Its my college and I love it there for some reason, even thought the home work is killing me and sucking out my soul. I ended up choosing Eat’N Park. I choose Eat’N park because I like food and I really like the place. I couldn’t think of any better place to do than that. I feel learning a lot more about a place I care about than a place I couldn’t careless about. I honestly don’t even know what an angle is. I tried my best to understand what this “angle” was. But I don’t understand it so I am jus going to write my paper and hope for the best like I always do. -Insert Smiley Here-

I am very tall although I cant scrap the sky. Stay rooted to Smithfield street. I have impressive architecture. I have marble staircases and stained-glass windows. I also have landscape paintings and antique furnishings. I am available for appointments Monday through Thursday starting at 8:30a. Admissions fee is on me. In the past I was not always what you see today, I had many different purposes.

I don’t really pay attention to how Pittsburgh is represented at all. Things of that nature do not interest me at all. When Pittsburgh is mentioned in media, like the news I wouldn’t have a clue as to how its represented because I don’t watch the news. The news is always about how someone’s house is blowing up or some shooting in some place or how someone is trapped because of snow. I honestly don’t care about that stuff, I don’t want watch a TV program and be depressed by what it is showing. In film I think Pittsburgh is represented as an OK place. Some movies I’ve seen that took place in Pittsburgh did not have a bad outlook on Pittsburgh. It was a normal, peaceful scenery. With me living in Pittsburgh all my live I know that’s not one hundred percent true. But then again what place is normal, peaceful and perfect? Nowhere right? So I would say Pittsburgh is not that much different from anywhere else in the world. Except Chicago maybe, I have heard that Chicago is really dangerous compared to out here. (INSERT LAUGH HERE).

I’m in this english class, and for this assignment i have to post a one page post on here weekly. I also have to post something that has to do with my personal narrative. Here is a little section of what my personal narrative is about.

Great experiences come along very little in an average humans lifetime. I’m sure we all wish we had a lot more of them but sadly we cant control when they happen. On great experience I had was my first day of college. My first day at the art institute was a very good experience. I loved my first day here at the school. It was fun, crazy, exciting, and fearful all at once. As I walked up to the tall, red building I seen students entering and leaving the through a silver door. I knew then that was my entrance. I walked through the door and seen a security guard sitting behind a black desk with a sky blue shirt on. I had seen some students showing him a card with some identification on it but I didn’t have any on me. I jus proceeded pass the guard without looking at him. I headed to the café area since I had no clue where I was going. I then seen two tall women sitting at the table with some sign on it. I asked them where do I go if its my first day? And they asked me did I get my schedule yet? I responded with no. they told me to go through the black glass door into the lobby to get my schedule. I met some blonde haired lady who gave me my blue schedule. She then told me to talk to this bald skinny guy next to her for him to explain how to read the schedule to me. I walked over to the bald guy and waited for him to finish talking to a person in front of me.”
